Yamp is a music player for the following files:
- WAV, all subformats, compressed ones (GSM, ADPCM, ...), as well
- MID (MIDI format 0 and 1) and RMI (format 0 and 1)
- MOD, S3M, XM, IT modules

- MPA, MP1, MP2 and MP3 (MPEG-1 Layer I, II, III and MPEG-2 LSF)
- AVI, all subformats

other features:
- CD support with browsable and searchable database
- ZIP and RAR archive support
- powerful load- and saveable playlists
- commandline & Drag’n’Drop support for files, folders (with subfolders) 
and playlists
- traybar support for the most wanted functions

For the playback of the MOD formats Yamp uses the great Midas Sound System. 
For the ZIP support Yamp uses the Unzip.dll by Eric Engler.
